Jennifer Ewing painted and drew from an early age. She attended childrens classes at the Art Institute of Chicago. Graduating from Monmouth College, IL, major in Art, she taught elementary art, and later taught drawing and painting at Mesa State College, Grand Junction, CO. Moving to San Francisco in 1981, she worked as a technical illustrator for engineering companies until she formed Ewing & Germano, a mural business. Jennifer also teaches in the Education Programs at the DeYoung & Contemporary Jewish Museums. She exhibits her work in mixed media and teaches privately.

Leo Germano, a natural draftsman and humourous illustrator, earned a BFA in design from the Chouinard School of the California School of the Arts. He has been a teacher in the Peace Corps (Malaysia XI), and a draftsman and graphics specialist for architectural and engineering firms. Currently, he is persuing his passion for photography and digital graphics. Painting along with Jennifer, he also does perspective control, design layouts and photographic documentation for Ewing & Germano. Leo is a San Francisco native, speaks Italian and has travelled extensively in Italy.
