Jennifer Ewing

Jennifer Ewing

Founder and Owner
From the start in 1989, painting backdrops for Neiman Marcus, till today, working with clients to design projects on a large scale, Jennifer has kept her painterly hand in top form producing thousands of feet of fine art for Ewing & Germano. The love of paint is what is at the heart of this business. Her desire to paint large was fueled by an extended honeymoon with Leo in Europe. They visited large fresco cycles in museums and churches collecting ideas that were translated into fine art murals within a studio converted to facilitate large works on canvas. Jennifer worked as a graphic artist and teacher before becoming an entrepreneur.

As a life long artist and painter, she keeps a robust studio practice and shows her personal work regularly throughout the Bay Area. From 1992-2004, she focused on painting Italian hill towns, and Mediterranean scenes. From 2005 - today, she paints and creates sculpture and installations of her Spirit Boats. In 2005, she also began teaching art part time within museum settings. Working with children and families has deepened her own artistic expression and appreciation of the impact of art in the lives of others. She holds workshops for art making in her studio.
